What's Up Wednesday - The Perfectly Imperfect Mama

What's Up Wednesday

by - Wednesday, May 31, 2017

It's the last Wednesday of the month which means I am linking up with Shay, Mel & Sheaffer for this month's What's Up Wednesday!

Typically I do my posts the night before, but last night while I was putting my kiddos to bed, they both asked me if I would lay down with them until they fell asleep.  And since #babiesdontkeep, I said of course ... & I fell asleep too.  So there's that. 😊

Every month I link up with these three blogger friends & we answer these questions ...
Here's what we've had going on ...

What we're eating this week ...

or, er, month because I haven't cooked this week unless you count the Spaghetti O's I whipped up last night. 😉  And we ordered take out on Monday night.

But ... I do have plans to cook the rest of the week & I also tried these two new recipes a couple weeks ago ...
Sloppy Joe Pot Pie & Sausage & Pasta from yep ... you guessed it, Shay's cookbooks!  I could literally be a spokesperson for her cookbooks!  HA!

What I'm reminiscing about ...
Ah, take me back.
Earlier this month, my sweet little family went on our first Disney cruise.
If you missed any of my posts, you can find them here!

What I'm loving ...
This.
Last night, Millie Jo had dance pictures & I'm pretty much obsessed with this picture.
Love her so much!

What we've been up to ...

SO much!
Y'all know how the end of the school year is always crazy busy!
Lots of playing outside ...
Cooper finished up his second year of golf lessons ...
Baseball games ...
We just finished 10 days of antibiotics for an ear infection ...
First grade field day ...
Millie Jo got her second year of dance trophy ...
And Coop got his baseball trophy!

Oh my heart, just typing all that made this mama tired. 😉

What I'm dreading ...

I can't think of anything!

What I'm working on ...

Remember when I shared that I was reading the book Unstuffed?!?
Yea, I've been cleaning out ALL the things ... still!
Why in the world does one need SO much!?!
If you haven't read the book, go buy it.  It puts things in a whole new perspective.
Amazon has it right now for less than $10 plus free shipping if you have prime.  Go buy it & thank me later!

What I'm excited about ...

Spending the summer with my kiddos & not having a routine/schedule!

What I'm watching/reading ...

Gosh, I wish I had the time to watch TV.  Hopefully we will be slowing down in the next week or so & I can find a new show on Netflix!  Let me know if you have any recommendations.

What I'm listening to ...

iHeartradio - Lauren Daigle all the time!
I talked about her song, Once and for All, in one of my post last week & if you missed it, you can read it here.

What I'm wearing ...
I shared this picture yesterday & I LOVE this top.  It'll be on repeat all summer!
And how sweet is Millie Jo's maxi dress!?!  It's Mustard Pie.

What I'm doing this weekend ...

Millie Jo has her dance rehearsal on Friday night & then her recital on Saturday.  Can't wait to watch my tiny dancer!

And just for fun, here is a picture from her recital last year ...

What I'm looking forward to next month ...

No school ... vacation ... days spent by the pool. 😊

What else is new ...

I think that's it!

Bonus question ::  What is your favorite vacation spot ...

Gosh, as much as I loved that Disney boat, I just love, love, LOVE Cabo San Lucas.  Just give me somewhere tropical & I'll be just fine!

And that's this month's What's Up Wednesday!

I hope y'all have the best day!
