MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Today is the first day of Christmas break for my kiddos & I have decided to take the rest of this week & next week off from blogging!

I plan to savor these moments of the next week & just enjoy my family .. I hope to slow down some & experience the magic of Christmas with them .. And best of all, we are going to focus on the true meaning of Christmas … Jesus Christ, our Lord & Savior!

ELLIE JOY : 8 MONTHS

Happy Wednesday!

The excitement is real over here as today is the last day of school before Christmas break!

Eeeeeek!

Today I am sharing Ellie Joy's E I G H T H month update with you.

I can't believe she is already nine months & will be ten months on Monday! That's only two months away from one. AHHH!!

Y'all, this baby is sweet as pie!

She found the stairs & it's a daily struggle to keep her away from them! 😉

Her daddy better be glad I love him.

And after I took this picture, I changed her! HA!

This girl is attached to her mama!

Seriously … she is a mama's girl & I love it!

Many nights cooking dinner looks like this.

Itty Bitty girl!

She is so quick at crawling & is cruising around EVERYTHING. Almost ten months into this & nursing is still going wonderfully! She is on table food & LOVES it! She loves drinking water. And she loves being outside!

She still has not said "Ma Ma" … I'm not sure what she's waiting on. 😉

And she still wasn't sleeping through the night at eight months!

OUR TRIP TO SEE THE BIG GUY [2018]

YESTERDAY, I mentioned that on Saturday, we went to tell the Big Guy all the things we wanted for Christmas.

And friends, there were NO tears from Ellie Joy!

I honestly expected her to cry because both Cooper & Millie Jo did their first Christmas but girlfriend was totally fine.

She LOVED the candy cane, too!

We've been going to the Bass Pro Shop Santa since Cooper was little & have never been disappointed.

You get to take your own pictures if you'd like PLUS they give you a free 4x6 …

They have small tables set up where you can color & write your letters to Santa while you wait …

Games to play …

Four wheelers to sit on .. even when you're probably not supposed to ...

And the cutest crafts!

We can always count on ELEANOR ROSE for the sweetest sister sets!

Anytime anyone talks to this baby, she gets so bashful & tucks her head.

I melt.

Oh, my sweet, perfectly imperfect little fam!

OUR WEEKEND

Happy Monday!

Three days until Christmas break. THREE, y'all!

We can hardly wait over here!

I'm going to spend these three days cleaning my house just to let my kiddos mess it right back up on Thursday. HA! But I HAVE to clean out some toys before they start getting more things!

And I only have 364 loads of laundry to do.

Sigh.

On Friday night, we had Christmas party #2 of the season. Evidently I was just living in the moment because I never even took my phone out of the diaper bag .. which means I took zero pictures.

Saturday morning, we got up early, got ready & headed to see Santa!

I'll share all about that tomorrow!

Pssssst … there were NO tears!

After our trip to see Santa, we met up with my parents & gave them our kiddos so we could go out with friends to celebrate Dan's birthday.

We went to dinner at Cabo Fish Taco & if you are local to Charlotte, you need to go! It was SO good! And then we went to an escape room. SO MUCH FUN!! I'm ready to plan another one asap!

Yesterday, my hubby turned 32!

He woke up to me & Millie Jo singing Happy Birthday. We also surprised him & had our families over for lunch! And again, I took zero pictures.

But I did take one last night before we went to bed! 😉

I can't wait to see what God has in store for Dan's life this year. Coop, Millie Jo, Ellie Joy & I are so blessed to have him in our lives! I could literally go on & on about him but anyone that knows him, knows that he is the bomb. It just doesn't get any better than Daniel Pegram! I wish those who don't know him personally, could meet him. Best heart ever! And it's a fact … 32 has never … EVER looked so good!!

Okay, I'm off to start cleaning out all the things. Nothing is safe & all is fair game. HA!
