And Happy Birthday Month to my sweet Cooper!

Y'all!  I can't believe how fast this year is already going.

Today I am sharing all about our month of February!

We kicked off February at Chick-fil-A with Mimi :).

Millie Jo went with Mimi after our Chick-Fil-A date & spent the night so the next day I had a lunch date with my favorite man!

Watching our cousin play basketball.
Coop LOVED it!
I mean the boy even wore his "basketball" clothes & tucked his shirt in like everyone on the team ;).

Saturday night at Grammy & Poppy Pop's.
And a very rare moment when they're actually playing together & not fighting.  HA! ... but seriously.

We love all things Old Navy!

You know the weather has been crazy here in NC when we can sit outside & eat popsicles ... at the beginning of February!
I mean, WHAT!?!

Every night after Cooper takes a shower, he "shaves" with his shaving kit & then he will come in my room asking me to feel how soft his face feels.  I love it.  I'm almost certain he won't come to me in 10 years wanting me to feel how soft his face is after he shaves.  And on this night he was loving his pjs he picked out ;).

Little mommy.
She still loves her closet for all of her doll clothes & shoes that Santa made out of a crate.

I mentioned 1,321 a few times that we have been redoing our kitchen.
I can't wait to share!

Just building a dinosaur on a Friday afternoon . . . no big deal.

I've never been one that likes going to the movies . . . I mean, I'd much rather be at home, in my pjs, on my couch, with my blanket watching a movie.  But when Coop asked as soon as he started seeing previews for the new Batman Lego Movie to go see it, I told Dan that we had to take him.  Plus, that movie theater popcorn is the bomb.

Park date.
Thankful for you.

If there is anything these two love, it's frozen yogurt.

My forever Valentine.

Y'all, this girl rocked her 4 year old check up.
I'm that mean mama that went ahead and got kindergarten shots out of the way so we wouldn't have to worry about them next year.  I won't lie, she SCREAMED!  But I don't think it was so much from the shot because she started screaming as soon as they laid her down on the bed [our office still gives them in the leg ... SO glad!]  Once they let her sit up afterwards she was fine but she did NOT like being held down.  Before all of that she didn't even flinch when they pricked her finger.  She's one tough cookie!
Since she was a baby she's always been 90th percentile for height and 50th for weight.  Nothing has changed.  The doctor said she is the average size of a 5 year old ... yep, 5.  She's 4.  I mean, her daddy is 6'4 though :).

Life without these two would be so boring.

Fridays are for friends & ice cream.

Ready to celebrate sweet Eva Grace.

Sunday afternoon picnics and the park with friends.

I bet Cooper asks me every single day to go outside after school and play football or basketball.  I'm not always the cool mom that says yes but this day I did ... & he loved it.

Again, not always the mom that says yes when my kids ask me to play with them because #momlife but Millie Jo has had a cold for the past few weeks so snuggles, movies and games inside have been our go to.

But even sick, she still smiles.
And on this day we had a BBQ lunch date with Mimi & Paw-Paw.

On the 23rd one of my most favorite people EVER had a birthday ... my mama!
I'm just here to tell y'all that she's just as beautiful on the inside as she is the outside.
Blessed to have her as a mama & also my best friend

Remember when I introduced you to Jack?!?

The past few weeks have been tough .. and I have a feeling that the weeks to come may just get even tougher.  I'm having so many memories of last year & our sweet Ruthie Belle and spending quality time with my hubby has been much needed.  God knew I needed him long ago.

And them too.
Sweet kiddos!

Remember those movies and snuggles I was talking about!?!  Yep, this is what we did on Monday ... & I wasn't mad about it!

My boys . . . always, always, always ... did I mention always??? ... wrestle.
All the time.
This is what they do.
I'm fine with it until they drag me into the floor and all pile on top of me ;).

And that was our February.
Pretty sweet if you ask me!

Happy Thursday, friends!
