My favorite time of the year is here & I couldn't be happier. The weather is still a little warm here but you can tell Fall weather is coming!

I told you on Tuesday that life has been SO busy ... & as if it weren't busy enough ... I may or may not have started yet another project in our home. Operation :: living room/foyer makeover ;). I mean, my hubby just loves me! HA! But after it's finished our entire downstairs will be all done! Yessssss!!
Besides painting, painting & a little more painting here is a look at what we've been up to . . .
Last week Millie Jo had her very first dentist appointment and rocked it just like I knew she would!

My little man had his second golf lesson on Monday afternoon & as I was watching him practice I was just amazed at how well he plays. He has been swinging a club since he was 3 years old & I pray everyday that God would use his talent if that's what Coop wants to do one day!
When his coach told the parents [there's only 5 in his class] to grab a golf cart, you can only imagine how excited these two were. They laughed the entire time riding on that thing!
And shout out to my hubby for taking Coop with him every time he goes & plays golf because he knew where to put his clubs & how to strap them on the back of the cart without me even having to help him!
This girl spent the hour of golf lessons turning flips.
Surprise, surprise ... right!?! :)

Millie Jo is finally getting over her sinus infection & we are so happy about that. I have been enjoying all the extra snuggles!
On Tuesday morning, while Coop was at school, Dan took me & Millie Jo on a breakfast date. He let her pick where we went [as if he didn't already know where she wanted to go] & yep, you guessed it . . . Chickfila. The girl knows the way to my heart!
After breakfast we went to my second home lately Home Depot to get paint for my new said project.
Can't wait to share it with y'all soon plus my fall décor!
That's a little bit of this & that for you.
Before I go though, I want to ask y'all to say a special prayer for all police officers & their families. When I watch the news & see what's going on in Charlotte, NC it just breaks my heart. This world has become so heartbreaking & it's so scary to think what kind of world our children are growing up in.
This morning when I sat down to do my quiet time, I turned my devotional calendar to today & this is what it said . . .
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
