Vacation :: Days 6 & 7
Happy Friday, friends!
My post is later today because we have spent our morning at the pool with friends. We are home now & it's nap/rest time.
...And all the mamas said amen! :)
Today I'm sharing our last two days of vacation with you. They were good ones ...
Day 6 ...
We headed down to Cherry Grove, which is a beautiful beach beside North Myrtle, first thing that morning. The sand dunes were gorgeous & perfect for the mermaid pictures I wanted to take of Millie Jo. I told you yesterday that she loves mermaids ... when I saw this 3 piece set, I just knew I had to get it!
I'm so excited to finally share these pictures of my girl.
After we took a few pictures we spent the rest of the day out on the beach.
This girl ... & her daddy were exhausted before dinner!
We had dinner at one of my favorite pizza places, Kings Pizza, since it was my birthday.
If you ever go to the beach make sure you eat there. It never disappoints!
It's a good day when you're on vacation, you run into one of your best friends AND it's your birthday!
Love this girl so much.
And Millie Jo loves her "livia" (Olivia) :).
My sister-in-love made me a chocolate chip cheesecake {the recipe I shared with you on Tuesday} for my birthday so after dinner we went back to the condo & ate it.
Day 7 ...
Was spent back down at Cherry Grove.
We went swimming & searched for hermit crabs! SO much fun.
We found so many & tried to catch the little minnows but those little suckers are quick.
After a few hours on the beach we went back to the condo to pack up, shower & head home ...
We grabbed dinner at Chick-fil-A & within 2 minutes after Millie Jo finished eating she was sound asleep ...
& this boy watched movies all the way home.
That wraps up our vacation!
It was such a good one.
Love spending time with my little family!
I do have one more beach post for next week though. Every year we take pictures out on the beach one evening. All those pictures are a post in itself so I will share those with you later :).
