Friday Favorites :: Kitchen Reveal
Happy, happy Friday!
Today I'm linking up with Erika, Narci & Andrea for some Friday Favorites. Today is my kitchen reveal & it is by far one of my favorite things from the week!
Here we go . . .
I know what you're thinking ... green. Very green.
Don't get me wrong, the green didn't bother me near as bad as the lighting. It was just so dark. For a mama who blogs it just wasn't working out ;).
I did have a clock hanging on the wall but still the wall looked so empty even with it up there.
When we moved in last year we decided not to put a kitchen table in here because the dining room is right off of the kitchen & that's the table we always use. I did, however, want an island but could never find the one I wanted. I found this little bar & when I saw it I thought it would be perfect. One day I may eventually find/or build the island I want but until then, I am loving this.
Welcome to our new farm house inspired kitchen . . .
I had put curtains up but then the Joanna Gaines in me said "um, no ma'am ... take those down."
We don't have a very large kitchen but I feel like the white & no curtains opens it up SO much!
My new hanging light came from Home Depot. I was going to link it to it but I couldn't find it on their website. It was just released though.
All of my wall art (well, pretty much any décor you see) came from Hobby Lobby unless I posted otherwise.
Last week all of it was 50% off! I just couldn't stop picking up the different pieces!
Oh, this piece.
When I saw it, I knew I had to have it.
On days we do 'so much fun stuff' my kiddos will always say "Mama, this was the best day ever."
This wooden crate is from Wal-Mart & I just stained it.
Dan bought me this little sign from Cracker Barrel last week & I couldn't love it more.
I can't wait to fill this lantern up with tiny pumpkins in the fall & different tiny ball ornaments at Christmas time!
I found it at Home Depot.
Side note :: We haven't changed our sink yet but as soon as I find the one I want, we will.
Glass container w/ burlap : Kohls
My pantry door was just the standard white so my hubby sanded it down & I stained it. I was a little worried at first because the stain looked like it wasn't going to take in certain spots because some paint had been missed but ah, I love it so much more & the distressed look it gave it.
I made my bakery sign myself.
Inspired by my sweet friend, Natalie.
Y'all, I'm super excited about our very own DIY coffee bar.
I should add that I am no coffee drinker (I know, I know) BUT my hubby is & I'm totally loving this space.
Wire basket w/ glass bottles : TJ Maxx
Painted mason jar : TJ Maxx
These coffee mugs are definitely my favorite.
All but the leopard print (Belk) are from TJ Maxx.
Thanks for stopping by & checking out our kitchen. I am so happy with the way it all turned out!
Be looking for a DIY post next week. I will be sharing how we built our very own coffee bar for less than $50!!
Tonight I have a date with a certain blue-eyed, blonde headed little boy & I'm super excited about it ;).
I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!
