We have really been enjoying the Christmas season but I will admit, I was feeling a little overwhelmed last week. With Christmas parties, shopping & gifts ... I just really had to take a step back & remember that while all that stuff is fun the real reason for the season is Jesus & that's the most precious gift of all.
Here's what we've been up to ...
Last week I had to work the Santa Shop at Cooper's school so I dropped this sweet girl off with Grammy so they could spend the day together.
Remember the "Grow your own tree" kit Fred the Elf brought the kiddos?!?
Well we did them & the next morning they looked like this ...
Pretty cool, huh!?!
Such a ham!
These two have been such big helpers!
They love to bake just like their mama. I will remember moments like this forever!
Love this gingerbread girl!
I bet we hear 37 times a day "Mommy/Daddy will you pull my hair back?"
Dan pretty much has that pony tail perfected :).
I love being able to go help at Cooper's school.
This was at his Christmas party last week.
Love my little Rudolph!
Going to see the Christmas lights with this crew is always something I look forward to every year. The girls pile up in the back of the truck with the kiddos & our guys ride up front. So much fun!
Last night we baked with my mama & sister. This is hands down my favorite tradition. We talk, we laugh, we bake & listen to Christmas music :).
That's what life around here has looked like lately!
Before I go, I've had several people ask about my reindeer Christmas sweater. I found it at Belk & I love, love, LOVE it!
I mean, cute right!?!
You can find it here. It's on sale right now, too!
