Weekend Wrap Up - The Perfectly Imperfect Mama

Weekend Wrap Up

by - Monday, January 16, 2017

Our weekend was such a good one as we celebrated our sweet Millie Jo!
I can't wait to share her birthday party with y'all but that's a post in itself so I'll share that tomorrow!
Our Friday started off extra sweet ... because birthday weekends are for chocolate milk with whipped cream & chocolate drizzled on top!
If you've been reading my blog for anytime at all then you know that we are NC State fans.  What you probably don't know is that my father-in-love is a huge Carolina fan.  Last week, he came home with Coop this jersey & he wore it proudly.  Sigh.

This little dude just loves anything football AND he's only six so he can like as many teams as he wants ... right!?! :)
On Saturday morning Dan & Cooper ran to the store & when they came back they had Millie Jo a rose & a double chocolate chip frappe from Starbucks ... her favorite!

She was so excited & said "That was so sweet, Mommy!"

They knew exactly the way to her heart.

And surely I'm not the only one who falls more in love with their hubby after they do something like that!?!

Saturday afternoon it was time to celebrate Millie Jo's 4th birthday ... Snow White style!!
Eeeeek!

We partied so hard that on Saturday night we were all exhausted, so we put our jammies on & colored.  Coop was such a good sport about coloring in Millie Jo's new Shopkins coloring book. HA!
These two!
Her last picture as a three year old . . .
And her first picture as a four year old on Sunday morning!
Oh my heart!
How in the world did that happen!?!
[If you missed her birth story I shared a couple weeks ago, you can read it here]

After church we met some of our family at Olive Garden upon Millie Jo's request for spaghetti ;).

How cute is the outfit she's wearing!?  Mimi did her shirt!
I've had so many people message me after posting this picture of her yesterday asking where I buy her icings [leggings & shirts] they are from Island Girl Fashion World & they're incredible!
And my mother-in-love also had this Shopkins cake made for her birthday!
Sunday afternoon we watched the Cowboys . . . lose! Ahhhhh.  We were so stinkin' close to that super bowl!
What an incredible year we had though!

And that was our weekend!
I hope yours was amazing, too!
