Ringing in the New Year
Happy Happy New Year, y'all! I can't believe how fast 2016 flew by & I can't wait to see what 2017 has in store for me & my family!
Our weekend was very laid back & it was so nice. Hopefully that's how this new year will be, too! :)
On Friday Cooper & Millie Jo spent the day with Grammy.
So my man & I had a lunch date!
Later that night my sister & I headed to the mall. My kiddos were supposed to spend the night with Grammy & Pop but decided to come home so we stayed up late & took down our Christmas decorations. Am I the only one who gets sad when it's that time!?!
Saturday evening these two were ready to ring in the New Year.
And guess what January also means for this girl ... A BIRTHDAY!
Eeeeek!
I can't believe she will be 4 in just two weeks!
We plan on celebrating pretty much all month ;).
We started New Year's Eve out by going to dinner.
When you show up to dinner in your blanket scarves & matching jackets.
Thankful for her!
After dinner we went back home & Dan built us a bonfire.
[Insert the kissing emoji & fire emoji here ... & I don't mean for the bonfire ;)]

We finished up our night playing board games right before midnight.
And then it was time for ALL the midnight kisses . . .

Today is the last day of Christmas break for Coop. Back to school tomorrow. Sigh. We have enjoyed this little break SO much & it just makes us look forward to summer break so much more! We spent lots of time together, staying up late, sleeping in & staying in our jammies most every day. It's rainy & cold here today so our day is going to consist of lots of blankets & movies! Back to a routine tomorrow.
