Weekend Wrap Up
As if Mondays aren't bad enough, I have the stomach bug & I'm just here to tell you that it is no fun at all! It started last night so hopefully it's almost over.
This mama has no time for this stinkin' virus. I have already told my hubby & kiddos that if they're going to get it, please do before this weekend. As if they can control that ...
So as I sit here watching football & sip on my Gatorade I thought I would share what we were up to this weekend!
Friday was my hubby's 30th birthday! Several weeks ago I threw him a surprise party with our family & friends but everyone needs a cake & a little party on their actual birthday ... right!?! The kiddos & I surprised him Friday evening with spaghetti & a red velvet birthday cake.
Birthdays are sort of a big deal in our house :).
On Saturday morning, Dan blew the leaves in our backyard & you know what that means .... leaf pile!
Saturday evening we went to a family & friends Christmas party at my in-loves house.
We love a good CHRISTmas party!

You would think this was an easy picture to take ...
The reality of it though ... "y'all, let me take your picture at the tree." But they kept playing with the darn balloons we had for Dan the night before ... "y'all, picture now." Running around like crazies at this point chasing the balloons ... "If y'all don't let me get your picture by this tree then we are NOT going to Mimi's house for this party."
And there's that ;).

Late Saturday night we headed to the airport to pick up my parents. They spent the week in Honduras sharing all about Jesus!
Their flight was delayed so we had time to spare & what better way to pass the time by than taking pictures on snapchat!?!
It was almost midnight so Coop was in the back seat snoozing!

All the puffy hearts!!
Every year some friends of ours has a party the Sunday before Christmas & calls it "An Afternoon with Santa." My kiddos had a blast!
This boy went on ... and on ... and on about what he wanted for Christmas.
How incredible is this Santa!?!
I wish I would have gotten a picture of Millie Jo's face when she first saw him ... it was the sweetest!! But when it came time to sit on his lap she wasn't so sure & she definitely wasn't doing it without Cooper right beside of her. She warmed up quickly though & told him everything she wanted. By the way, her list is A LOT shorter than Coop's ;).
I can't wait to see their faces on Christmas morning!
And that was our weekend.
