Friday Favorites :: My One Year Blog Anniversary!
Happy Friday!
Y'all, yesterday marked my 1 year anniversary for my blog. How exciting! One year ago I started my blog having absolutely no clue what I was doing. I knew I wanted something to call my own, to share my story, something to share with everyone how great God is & how He can get anyone through anything you just have to trust Him. I've done just that & have loved it & continue to do so.
Today I'm going to share some of my favorite posts from the past year.
I have loved doing the 3 Things post every few months & I actually got the idea from Andrea. It's something I will always have to look back on & remember about each one of us. Super special.
Posts about my sweet Ruthie Belle. This season of life was definitely one I would have never dreamed of having but we do. I never thought my blog would be one that late miscarriage was one of the main focuses . . but it is. God is using my baby girl's story & is using me to help others. He is so good!
This past year was a huge milestone for us. Cooper started & finished Kindergarten. So proud of my little man! And Millie Jo took her very first year of dance. She loved it & can't wait to start her second year!
Birthdays are definitely some of our favorite things around here. This year Coop Coop turned six & Millie Jo turned three! So much fun!!
Last April we bought a new house.
Last but definitely not least . . . one of the main reasons I started my blog last year.
Dan & I went through a very challenging time in our marriage. To be honest, we weren't sure that we would survive it ... but by God's grace & lots of prayer, we did. I am so extremely happy to say that today I am more in love with him than ever. There is no one I'd rather do life with :).
I posted this back in March.
We had just found out we were pregnant again ... not knowing that our sweet baby would never be on this earth. But it all is still so true. Not one time have we ever walked alone.
So much has happened in a years time.
There has been lots of laughs, lots of tears but most importantly lots of love. I will continue to thank God for all His many blessings & even unwanted situations. I can't wait to see what He has in store for me & my family this year & the years to come!
Not only is God great . . . He is good.
