TO HER FUTURE HUSBAND ...
To her future husband,
I don't know you yet, but since before she could even walk, I've been praying for you.
Her daddy has set the bar extremely high for you.
My prayer is that your parents are raising you up in the way of the Lord. That they are teaching you to love Christ, love her, love your family, & then everything else.
In that order.
My prayer is that they're showing you what a Godly marriage looks like. And that on the tough days, because trust me, there will be tough days, they're showing you what grace & forgiveness looks like in a marriage.
I pray that your father is leading by example in your home of how a man should lead his family & lead his family well.
My prayer is that you are being raised to always open the car door for her & to always hold the door for her.
My prayer is that they're raising you to be slow to anger and quick to listen.
My prayer is that you grow up seeking Jesus in all that you do.
My prayer is that your family will welcome her with open arms & love her for the amazing, God-fearing woman her dad & I are raising her to be.
Her heart is precious.
My prayer is that you always see that.
