JULY 4TH {KID FRIENDLY} PARTY - The Perfectly Imperfect Mama

JULY 4TH {KID FRIENDLY} PARTY

by - Tuesday, July 13, 2021

YESTERDAY, I shared a little bit about the 4th of July party that I threw for just the five of us.  Gosh, it turned out to be so cute!
These three were so excited about it, too!
And while we are at it, welcome to our new dining room! 😉 Home tour coming soon!
If you don't know, the Dollar Store has some of the cutest decor for any holiday! I grabbed the plates, our mini party hats, the glitter stars, & balloons from there! I had leftover BALLOON GARLAND STRIPS from one of Ellie Joy's birthday parties & it worked perfectly for the garland.  I grabbed the bubbles & sparklers from Walmart!

I've had this star tray for a few years now & I had completely forgot that I even had it until we unpacked all the things when we moved in.  I tried to gather all the red, white & blue things that I knew that my kiddos loved for the charcuterie board! Pepperonis, white cheddar popcorn, strawberries, captain wafers, (are my babes the only ones who love to dip those crackers in ranch?) string cheese cut up, mini pretzels dipped in white chocolate, & M&Ms that Coop & I searched high & low for! Thank you, Target!
You can't have a party without cupcakes!
Everything for those came from Walmart!
I saw this idea on Pinterest & thought it was so cute!  I had these small sundae glasses that my mom gave me years ago, filled the bottom with M&Ms, then placed a cupcake on top! HUGE hit!
I don't know what it is about glass bottle cokes that just screams SUMMER to me!  The pigs in a blanket with the stars on top were another Pinterest idea. If that's not kid friendly, then I don't know what is!
Ah, the white chocolate dipped ice cream cones with sprinkles.  My personal fav!  We filled them with chocolate ice cream & now we all think we need them at every party we have!
This cute little party turned out exactly how I envisioned it!
I just love a good theme!  This whole party cost less than $60!

If I forgot to mention anything, feel free to ask!
