WEEKEND [2019]

Happy Thanksgiving week, friends!

I can't believe it is already here. Cooper & Millie Jo are out of school tomorrow until Monday & we are so ready for a much needed break!

Thursday evening, these two guys of mine headed to Washington with Paw-Paw for their yearly tradition of boys weekend to go see the ~~no good stinkin'~~ Redskins.

And while they were there, Millie Jo, Itty Bitty & I had a girls weekend!

Even though Cooper didn't go to school on Friday, Millie Jo wanted to go, so Ellie Joy & I went & had lunch with her.

We ended up checking her out of school early & started our weekend off with a nap. Not mad about it!

Later that afternoon, we headed to gymnastics ...

And this girl is there for all the snacks!

After gymnastics, we met up with my mother-in-love so we could go to the SOUTHERN CHRISTMAS SHOW.

Us girls go every year & it's always so much fun!

A full evening of shopping calls for a late dinner at Chickfila!

With the boys away, Friday night, we stayed at my mom's per Millie Jo's request of a sleepover.

And I laughed so hard when we left Saturday morning & I saw this note left for Grammy. If you don't know, Millie Jo LOVES her some bacon but it has to be extra crispy! Ha!

It rained all day Saturday & was the perfect weather for an afternoon cup of coffee & Christmas movies. Plus 499 loads of laundry.

Saturday evening, we had Thanksgiving dinner with my mom's side of the family & it's always a sweet time when we all get together. On our way there, Millie Jo wrote this & y'all, I just love her heart! Sounds like a pretty great snow day to me! 😉
