Happy Monday, y'all!

I am feeling so recharged today after a night away Friday night with my hubby.  I'll be sharing about our getaway this week!

But for today, it's our monthly 10 ON THE 10TH LINK UP & we are sharing TEN of our favorite gifts to give.  If you blogged, grab my graphic & link up below!
Let's get started ...

1.  STOCKING STUFFERS

Want to know a little secret?  Stockings are one of my most favorite gifts to give & receive.  I don't know what it is about them but I LOVE them!  It's kinda like TJMAXX ... you just never know what is going to be in there & it's so exciting to find things!  Stockings are always full of stuff you didn't know you needed.

2.  SOCKS

Can you really ever go wrong with gifting a cozy pair of socks!?!

3.  EXPERIENCES

Yes, yes & yes.  I am all for the idea of instead of gifting toys, gifting a trip, a night away, or a day trip somewhere!  Children outgrow toys but memories last forever!

4.  SUBSCRIPTION BOXES

I recently read about this idea a couple months ago & LOVED it!  The more research I did, the more I found.  There are so many neat subscription boxes for kids!  And it's something they would get every month or so.  What kid doesn't love to get mail!?  I know mine do!

5.  SCARVES

Need I say more!?!  I love a good blanket scarf & they are so fun to give, too!

6.  TOBOGGAN

And with a scarf, a cute toboggan is a must!  These two things make great teacher & girlfriend gifts!

7.  CANVAS

If you are looking for a gift idea for grandparents, get a family picture or a picture of just the grandchildren & have it put on canvas.  They are sure to love it!  Groupon always has deals on canvas prints.

8.  CRAFTS

Another idea is a craft.  Every year I buy blank canvases at Hobby Lobby & let Cooper, Millie Jo & Ellie Joy do a Christmas craft out of paint to give all the grandparents.  One year we did Rudolph with Cooper's foot & Millie Jo's hands as the antlers, & last year we made Christmas trees out of their hands.  I always let them make me one for our house, too!

9.  HAND PAINTED ORNAMENTS

Speaking of painting, another thing my kiddos do for the grandparents is give them an ornament.  We always go to Michael's or Hobby Lobby, let them pick out an ornament shape & they paint them.  Don't forget to put their names & ages/year on the back.  It's a sweet little gift to look back on!

10.  PERSONALIZED GIFTS

It's always special to give a gift with someone's name, monogram, birthstone, etc.  It shows that you really took the time to think of them!

I can't wait to read your favorite gifts to give.  I always love different ideas!  And boy mama's, I could really also use your help ... WHAT IN THE WORLD DO YOU BUY A NINE [almost ten] YEAR OLD BOY!?!  My girls are SO easy to buy for but the older Coop gets, the harder it is! Help a mama out!! 😉
Next month is our last month of 2019 to link up.  How insane is that!?!  It's going to be a fun one, too, as we share our favorite pictures of the year!

Okay, my kiddos are out of school today for Veteran's Day .. [thank YOU all men & women who have served our country] .. & I'm the crazy mama who is heading to the doctor's office with ALL three of them to get their flu shots this morning!  Sigh.  I'm looking forward to it just about as much as they are.  This afternoon will call for a sweet treat, Christmas movies & naps ... & I'm totally fine with that!

  1. I did buy subscription boxes for my boys one year and they were a huge hit; I just loved the added bonus that they each were learning something new each month too. My mother in law always got them a magazine subscription too and we had so much fun learning alongside one another twice a month when their gifts came in.

  2. Glad to see this link up will be open a few more days. I have a post started and will try to wind it up. As a grandma, I especially like the idea of the crafts...the blank canvases your crew turned into art for their grandparents! What priceless keepsakes.

  3. I think handmade gifts are wonderful, especially from kids. I love socks! And experiences are something I love to give people too. I'm also a big fan of stockings and stocking stuffers - it really is fun to dive into the stocking and see what you got! I'm offering help with gift ideas for people if you want to read the post on my blog to learn more!
