Core Compassion Project ... Girl's Night Out
After the birth of her second baby, my cousin Jill Hinson decided to pursue Pilates to regain her core strength ... & she fell in love with it! So much that in 2011 her dream came true & she opened up her own Pilates studio in Historic Downtown Monroe, NC.
A couple of her very first clients informed her that they had breast cancer .. Jill being the loving, caring, kind-hearted person she is started studying right away all about breast cancer & the effects it has on the body. She wanted so bad to find a way to help these women & she knew that Pilates could & would help these survivors!
Jill knew that many women who needed Pilates would not be able to afford private sessions due to medical expenses. So in 2012, she founded a non-profit organization called The Core Compassion Project .. & oh my heart, what a blessing it has been. This organization provides post-rehab Pilates scholarships to women in need. Every $500 they collect provides one survivor 10 private sessions with a qualified & approved Pilates instructor.

Last Thursday night, I had the privilege of attending the Core Compassion Project Girl's Night Out for the 4th year in a row. It's such a wonderful experience & to hear the survivors stories is amazing. I look forward to going every year.
Love her!
