A Letter to my Mom ...

Mama,

Thank you.  Thank you for always being there for me, for supporting me, for always knowing what to say & when to say it.  Thank you for praying for me & thank you for beginning to pray for my husband & children when I was a little girl.  God definitely heard your prayers because He has blessed me beyond measure with them.  Thank you for continuing to pray for them & for my little family.  Thank you for teaching me how to love unconditionally.  As hard as it was for you, thank you for letting me make my own choices even though some of those turned out to be big mistakes .. thank you for letting me learn from them.  Thank you for giving me your advice on pretty much every situation even when sometimes I don't want to hear it & I think my way is better ... you always were and still are right.  Thank you for teaching me to always keep God first.  Thank you for always reminding me to pray for God's guidance & to praise Him through the good & the bad.  Thank you for teaching me to not let what others say hurt me & that God's love is HUGE.  Thank you for teaching me how to forgive.  Thank you for being so strong, mama.  Thank you for always thinking of me, Ashley & Hunter.  Thank you for being so willing to help even when you may be exhausted.  Thank you for always being in my corner.  Thank you for being there the day I graduated high school & college.  Thank you for being the first person I wanted to tell when Dan proposed to me.  Thank you for being there as I walked down the aisle to my future.  Thank you for going through our house & praying in each room for God to protect us & bless our home.  Thank you for being by my hospital bed when I was in labor with both kiddos.  Thank you for loving my babies .. they really do have the best Grammy in the world.  Mama, thank you for being you.  You are the most amazing woman I know & I am so thankful for you.  I'm so glad God hand picked you to be my mom.

Just a few words that come to mind when I think of you .. loving, caring, God fearing, honest, loyal, amazing, kind, selfless .. & those are just a few.  The list could go on & on.  Mama, words can't describe how much you mean to me.  You were always my mother first growing up & now I can honestly say that you're my best friend .. you know the good, the bad & the ugly but yet you still continue to love me.  I love your heart.  I pray daily that I can be at least half the mom you are.

Thank you, Mom.
I love you bunches!

Happy Tuesday y'all!
