THE SWEET THINGS THAT REMAIN

Happy Wednesday, y'all!

I'm a few days behind on my weekly blog post from quarantine life but for good reason ...this week, is SPRING BREAK for my babes!  I mean, not at all how we were expecting it to be because in this season of life, every day feels like spring break minus the online school work we do an hour or so a day.  Thankfully, we didn't have any spring break vacation plans for this year so we didn't have to cancel but I know many people that did & I am so sorry!

So, here's a look at what we have been up to this past week …
Outside is where we spend most of our days ..
[And if you didn't sing that to the tune of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air then we can't be friends 😉 Only kidding]
But seriously, there isn't much besides that & we are kinda lovin' it!
We got the water table out that Itty Bitty got for her birthday last year & have been playing with it anytime we go outside!  You can find it HERE!
I mean, water play, bike riding, baby dolls, baseball … you name it, they play it!
We even took school outside last week.  In science, Millie Jo has been learning about soil so she dug this up & we sent it to her teacher!
Speaking of Millie Jo, I mentioned LAST WEEK that she has lost nine teeth.  I also mentioned that she LOVES to write.  And a letter to the tooth fairy was a must because why not!?  She was so excited when Pixie, her tooth fairy, wrote her back last week!
The weekend before last, we grilled out steaks for dinner & I loved this view!
We brought in the month of April by dying Easter Eggs!
We even made sugar cookies for the Easter Bunny!
Coop is still rocking out "his" grass cutting business.  HA!
And then my mom sent me this picture of my boy listening to our pastor!  Be still my heart!
Millie Jo & I snuck out one afternoon for a sweet treat.  Yesss, my letters are falling off my shirt!
And we are still enjoying our weekly evening drives just to get out of the house .. somewhere besides the backyard!
I'm telling y'all, soak in this time.  You may be tired, exhausted, not sure what to do next during this time, but, look around you.  All you need is right there!  We won't get this time back, friends!

If you missed the past two week's posts, you can find them here ...

Have the best day!
