THE SWEET THINGS THAT REMAIN - The Perfectly Imperfect Mama

THE SWEET THINGS THAT REMAIN

by - Tuesday, March 31, 2020

Hey Hey y'all!

Today's post is coming a little bit later in the day because about lunch time yesterday, I got an awful migraine & even after laying down all day and sleeping last night, my head still feels funny today.

I mentioned YESTERDAY that I was going to start a new little blog series called "The Sweet Things That Remain" during this season of our life.  Usually these post will be on a Monday but this week, it's today.  It's not Monday, right!?! 😉  Surely I'm not the only one whose days are running all together!?!
First up, friends, this Bible verse .. my heart.  If you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, message me, DM me, comment, or email me.  I would love to pray for you, answer questions that you may have & lead you to Him!  You will never for a second regret that decision.
I'm pretty sure this was only like day 3 of 4 of being inside & we were already about to drive each other bonkers!  This may or may not have been the same day that I literally threw our "homeschool" schedule in the trash.  Fact: We are more go with the flow kinda people .. except Millie Jo, girlfriend loves her a routine.
Warmer days call for snow cones, so, we hopped in the car last week, went through the drive thru & then went for a ride with the windows down.  It was so good for the soul!

Speaking of things that are good for the soul .. besties.  And this girl sure does miss seeing hers everyday!
We spend many days playing outside or taking a walk up the road ...
We were able to take lunch to Dan one afternoon … still continuing to practice our social distancing.
There, of course, was no school on St. Patrick's Day but that didn't stop us from wearing our green!
We've been working hard on school work.
And that's not the only thing ...
The gym may be closed but this girl doesn't stop!
Coop would cut grass every day if he could … or er, if the grass actually needed it that often.
School work, exercise & life skills.  I mean, we will take it!
And one evening, Dan & I just went for a drive to catch up on things going on in our lives while Paw-Paw stayed with the babes.
I have to tell you, I am super proud of my kiddos.  They adapt so well to change & have been rock stars.  Have they gotten bored? Yep.  But that is OKAY!  It teaches them to be creative!

So, what have you been up to during this time!?!

Don't forget, if you want to participate in my Photo A Day challenge for the month of April, it starts TOMORROW!  Can you believe that April is already here!?!
Grab this graphic & use the hashtag #thesweetthingsthatremain!

Have a happy Tuesday, friends!
