TEN!!
Oh my heart!
Today, T E N years ago, I became a mama.
That's right. This baby boy is TEN today!
And I'm not so sure my heart can handle it. I mean, ten is a BIG deal. Double digits!
I'm just over here crying wondering how in the world he is getting older & I'm getting younger .. HA!
I started looking through pictures last night & good thing no one will see me today ... #quarantine ... because I'm sure I'll have puffy eyes all day.
First, a few things I am thankful for after looking back on pictures ... better cameras AND that my blogging skills have gotten better!
Today, I'm sharing TEN things you may or may not know about Cooper, but, first I thought it would be fun to take a look back on pictures over the past ten years ...
There are so many things I can say about Coop & honestly, breaking it down to just ten was super hard for me because I could literally have y'all reading all day about my boy.
1. He has the best heart. He loves BIG & is always thinking about others. He loves to help people! He is so compassionate & has such a servants heart.
2. He loves to be outside. He spends the majority of his time when we are at home outdoors.
3. He loves ALL things sports. And y'all, he can tell you anything and everything you need to know about baseball, football & basketball. I tell him all the time that it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he grew up to be a sports newscaster. IF he isn't actually playing!
4. He wears his heart on his sleeve.
5. He is a math rock star! Just last night we were baking brownies & I was trying to figure out how much of an ingredient I needed & within seconds he had figured it out in his head. I can assure he did NOT get that from his mama ... because I was sure enough the one googling it.
6. He is such a hard worker. He has recently learned how to cut grass & asks to cut if every few days!
7. He is hilarious!! He is always making us laugh.
8. He is very protective over the ones he loves. He is the most incredible big brother. He is always looking after Millie Jo & Ellie Joy.
9. He asks all the questions. He wants to know, learn & understand everything.
10. He is a great friend. He comes home everyday from school talking about his buddies & what they did at recess.
He is just down right sweet, y'all. He loves Jesus and is so kind. I pray he never changes. This boy of mine is going to do BIG things in life & I can't wait to be right there cheering him on.

Thank you for making me a mama. It is such a joy to be yours! In a world that is trying to teach you to live the wrong way, always remember to keep your eyes to Jesus & continue to love like Him. You are His! And you are so loved!
