IT'S MY FOUR YEAR BLOGIVERSARY!
Well y'all, another year has come & gone!
Typically I don't do a blog post on the weekends BUT I am so excited about this one that I couldn't wait because TODAY is my FOUR YEAR BLOGIVERSARY! EEEK!
I never dreamed that it would grow into what it is today, four years ago.
When I started my little piece of the internet, I didn't really have big plans for it. Honestly, at the time, I wasn't even sure why it was on my heart to start it. The original name of it was "We Do Love" because the rebuilding of my marriage had just begun .. I'm talking like, a week in .. after much, much heartache. When Dan & I decided to fight for our marriage instead of letting Satan take the victory, that's the name I came up with. Another big thing going on was Cooper starting kindergarten & sweet Millie Jo was almost three years old. I didn't have a business to promote & up until then not much to share except every day life in the Pegram house. Which most of the time it is actually very comical & loud. Very, VERY loud. And if anything, it is the perfect "baby book" for my kiddos!
It wasn't until a couple years ago that I renamed it The Perfectly Imperfect Mama.

In the four years that I have been blogging, I have been able to share the goodness God has done & continues to do in my marriage. Full on restoration, friends. I still tear up just thinking about it! Only God.
Only God.

Nine months in, Dan & I LOST RUTHIE BELLE. Since then, I have connected with so many of you girls that have experienced miscarriage. I have been able to use this platform to share our story of it all & it has been so good for me!
I want this space to be a happy place but also real. I never want anyone to look at me or my family & think we are perfect because we are not! We are FAR from it. So if you're interested in all the real life stuff, you're in the right place! I mean, it's not always rainbows & butterflies. It's a place where I share things about motherhood, marriage, miscarriage, my faith & everyday life.
When I started this blog, I was a mess. My family was a mess. Life in general was just a big ol' mess. But that is the beauty of it all. God turns our messes into beautiful testimonies.
So much has happened in the past four years & I am so grateful for it all. The good, the bad & the ugly.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for following along with my little family. My readers are so, so sweet & I am thankful for each of you!

Hey doll, thank you for being REAL. My daughter has suffered 2 miscarriages in the past year but is finally 15 weeks pregnant. We are still holding our collective breaths, though, and probably won't relax until we are cuddling Cammie in our arms in January. Happy blogiversary. You reminded me that mine is coming up this month, too!! XO
ReplyDeleteOh my heart. Yes, I have been there. I was so scared my entire pregnancy with my rainbow baby. And honestly, even a little while after she was born & in my arms. I am praying for your family!
