Weekend Wrap Up - The Perfectly Imperfect Mama

Weekend Wrap Up

by - Tuesday, May 22, 2018

Hey Hey friends!
It's Tuesday & we are one day closer to our long weekend.

On Friday evening, we stayed home ... my favorite kind of Friday night.
This girl has found her voice & loves to talk.  She also loves keeping eye contact with her mama! 😉  We hung out on the porch while the other three did this ...
Played on the trampoline, swung & played in the sprinkler.  Ok, not the sprinkler, the pressure washer because Dan was cleaning off our outdoor furniture & they begged him to spray them.  HA!
Later that night, my mom & I were texting pictures of the kiddos back & forth & oh my heart, Ellie Joy favors her big brother A LOT!  And as of right now her eyes are very blue just like his so we will see if they stay!

Talk about a beautiful Saturday morning ...
The Royal wedding was incredible!  I loved Meghan's look.  Simple yet elegant!

And can we just talk about this man for a minute ...
I mean, he brought the Word & it was SO good!  There is no doubt in my mind that God was glorified on Saturday in that chapel.
On Saturday morning, we got out of the house for a little bit since we were having family over that evening.  Millie Jo requested Mexican for lunch & none of the rest of us were arguing with her about that!

Um, hello ... yum!
And he's not too bad either.
Kidding babe!! 😉
Saturday evening, we had my entire family over for dinner.  The kiddos ran around, played in the pool, we all ate so much & oh the desserts!  It's always so much fun when we are all together!
Only a few of us since the the others had already left.
Sunday morning we went to church & then lunch afterwards.  And in case you feel like you are a hot mess trying to take a decent picture of your family ...
Don't worry, you're not alone.
Then when you do finally get one, the sun was in one's eye & another decided to strike her sassy pose.
I mean! Girlfriend is 5 going on 15!
After lunch, we went home, changed clothes & then headed to the ball field so Coop could practice a little bit.
We ended our weekend just like we started it, at home, & it was so relaxing!
