Memorial Day Weekend : Part One
Happy Wednesday, friends!
I hope y'all had a wonderful long weekend because I know we sure did. Early Thursday morning, we loaded up the car & headed to the beach to camp with my parents, aunt & my father-in-love! If I haven't said it before, I LOVE the camping life!
We got to the campground around lunch time & while the guys set up ...
This girl & I watched until it was time to go get all the groceries because #camping.
That evening we ate dinner & then we went for a walk on the beach since it was getting late!
The next morning, I found these two in Grammy & Poppy Pop's bed ready to go to the swimming pool!
First time in the pool & y'all, this sweet baby loved the water!!

We stayed at the pool until it was lunch time, then we went back to the camper to eat, then got all of our stuff & headed to the beach to spend the afternoon.
One thing that Ellie Joy absolutely loves is her sound machine during nap time & bed time so when we laid her down on the beach & she heard God's sound machine 😉 she fell asleep & slept for hours! Lots & LOTS of you were asking about her little beach tent when I shared it on my instastories & y'all, it's amazing & a must have if you have a baby!

Girlfriend even loved the ocean!
When your a baby, your big brother loves you like crazy until you get old enough to start aggravating him. 😉
For someone not to care a SINGLE thing for the swimming pool (he spent all of his time floating on a float in the lazy river every time we went to the pool) he sure does loves the ocean & has no fear of it. And I'm just over here like give me the pool all day every day because #sharks.

After dinner, Dan took these two up to the arcade before bedtime. And let's just talk about how wonderful my hubby is for taking pictures when I'm not around because he knows I will want them!
And that was days one & two!
Tomorrow I will share the rest of our mini vacation with y'all!
I can't wait to see what everyone else was up to this past weekend!
