THANKSGIVING 2021

Happy Friday EVE!

We have been under the weather over here since Thanksgiving & we are all finally on the mend.  I hope!

During Thanksgiving break, we headed to the beach for a few days (I'll share all about our trip tomorrow) & then came home just in time to celebrate with family.
Every Thanksgiving morning, we wake up, cook cinnamon rolls, & then eat them while watching the parade.  It's one of my all-time favorite traditions that we have!

When we moved into this house in May, I couldn't wait until this specific day when I would be cooking things for Thanksgiving in the kitchen & look into our living room to see these three eating cinnamon rolls & watching the parade.  God has been so good to us!  Those two years without our own home were so long, but this view was worth the wait.
And I can't forget to share the picture I make them take every single year ... & will until they have moved out ... but even then, I'll probably at least try to make them! HA!
After the parade is over & we're all ready, we head to my in-loves house for lunch!
It's always fun when all the cousins are together!

And after their house, we go to my parents for dinner!
Ellie Joy loves this sweet baby & I'm constantly saying "stay out of her face, Ellie Joy, or let her eat, Ellie Joy." 😉

This year, Aunt Debby & Uncle John joined us!
This girl & her pop.
Listen, I'm not above bribing my crew for a picture, so on the way to my parent's house, I told them that I wanted a fun picture instead of the same one we always take .. & boy did they show up & show out.
My sister caught the best outtakes of us trying to get our picture .. but can someone please help me figure out why I thought it was a good idea for Cooper to be on my back & not Dan's!?!
The kid is literally almost the size I am!
But we were determined ..
Struggling ...
And then I was like "wait, why don't I hold Ellie Joy!"  HA!  Looky there!  It worked out much better.
And at this point, Millie Jo was so over us.  Can't say that I blame her!

Sister Sister!
And such an amazing aunt!
I mean!!

So so thankful for them!
And this sweet man of mine, too!

It was such a sweet Thanksgiving spent with our loved ones.  I hope yours was, too!

Okay, I'm off to cook dinner & watch Home Alone until The Grinch comes on tonight.  Eeeek!  Bring on all the Christmas!

Come back tomorrow for our fun little long weekend at the beach!
