CHRISTMAS 2019

Happy Friday, y'all!

It's after midnight here & I am busy trying to get all the things ready for Millie Jo's birthday party that is happening TONIGHT!  My girl will be SEVEN next week.  Eeeek!

I decided to take a break from the party planning & write this post catching you up on our Christmas festivities before it ends up being February.  HA!  Typically, I do a post for each Christmas BUT, this year I just picked a few favorite pictures & put it all in one post!

We kicked off Christmas at ...
Dan's work/volunteer party.  We always have such a good time at this event!  Cooper tagged along with us this year & was a ham per usual!

That weekend, was my mom's side of the family Christmas!
You know, the really BIG one that I just love so much!!

Unfortunately, Dan wasn't able to go due to being sick ... because girl's we all know that man flu is cray ... But, he did manage to snap these sweet pictures before we left!
How in the world did I get so blessed to be their mama!?!

What's a party without photo booth props!?!
This year, we played Bingo for old times' sake.  We used to play it every Christmas when I was a little girl & we all got together!
There is never ... ever ... ever ... a dull moment when we are all together!  We love & we love big!

Christmas Eve morning ...

Was the Pegram family Christmas!
My kiddos have really hit the jackpot with all the cousins they have on all sides of our families!
We love us some cousins.

I mean!!

None of them have any personality either ... 😉
Heck, I say my kiddos hit the jackpot but I'm pretty sure I did with these families of mine!

After the Pegram Christmas, we headed back to Dan's dad's house to open gifts there before heading to my parent's house!
This year, everyone picked a matching pj theme & you'll never believe that all but one fam showed up in buffalo plaid.  HA!  And while I love this picture ...
This one is more accurate!
Y'all, pjs to anything is always better than clothes.  We all just kept talking about how comfy we were all night!

I mean, the buffalo plaid did make for some great pictures!

After dinner, games, the reading of the Christmas story/devotion, gifts & just spending time together, we headed home to get ready for Santa!

We got home just in time to sprinkle out our REINDEER FOOD before the big guy made it to the United States.  We tracked him all day!

Christmas morning came & the excitement was REAL!

Christmas morning is just one of my all time favorites.  I thought I loved it as a kid ... goodness gracious, it's even better as a parent watching their faces light up over all the magic!

We played & played all morning.  I made the breakfast pizza that I make every year, & then we played some more before it was time to get ready for my in-love's house.

Are you tired yet!?!

Cooper & Millie Jo read the Christmas story this year from our advent calendar & it was just so sweet hearing them take turns & read scripture before we ate lunch!

More cousins!
Mimi & Paw-Paw could've gotten this girl a stocking filled with Hershey Kisses & she would have been so excited!
Christmas tired.
It's right up there next to Vacation Bible School tired!
If you know, you know.

Okay, if you are still here, you are incredible!
That was A LOT!

I hope y'all have an amazing weekend.  It's Millie Jo's birthday weekend & we plan to celebrate ALLLL weekend!

  1. What a grand holiday you enjoyed. Baby girl was in the midst of everything but finally tuckered out. Love the matching pjs on the kids, all the family together celebrating. I thought we had a full house with 6 guests!! Ha!
