OUR FARM HOUSE RENTAL
This past weekend, I asked on INSTAGRAM if y'all still wanted me to show you our rental house even though we are no longer in it. And the verdict was, y'all like seeing inside other people's homes just as much as I do!
If you have no idea what I'm talking about or didn't even know we were no longer in our rental, you can read all about the chaos HERE! And if you want to know why we were even in a rental to begin with, you can read all about that HERE!
If you've been following me for anytime at all, then you know that I LOVE to decorate my home.
Like, one of my most favorite hobbies!
Our PREVIOUS HOME was a bit larger than this one but honestly, I loved the less square footage! I was totally fine with downsizing. We ended up having to get a new couch for the tiny living room & when I found this one, I knew it would be perfect.
This room was added onto the house & made the sweetest little playroom.
The kitchen & I had a love-hate relationship. I loved the openness & all the counter top space BUT mama needs a dishwasher.
There was also no pantry but this little corner was one of my favorites!
Cooper had his own room & the girls ended up sharing just because it being an older house, the rooms were big.
What a fast six months that was ... I loved this little old house & was looking so forward to decorating it this fall & Christmas. Ahhh. But God had other plans for our family & I am perfectly fine with that!
Psssst ... had I known that we would have a mice infestation & wouldn't be there for a year or so, I would have NEVER put all the time into decorating it like I did. HA!

It turned out darling, who knew the mice thought it was so nice too! I need to know what's next for you all :)
ReplyDeleteSo I know you moved out of the rental, but you never said what the plan is now! Are you guys staying with family? In a new rental? Buying a house?
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love farmhouse. When we bought our home almost 12 years ago, the Tuscan style was big. I loved it then but the pieces we have are so dark and heavy. Our whole house feels heavy. My prefer the airiness of the farmhouse style. But can't afford to switch!! Maybe if I wait long enough everyone will fall in love with heavy and dark and our house will be up to the minute.
