BEACH WEEKEND GETAWAY
Happy Monday & Happy APRIL, friends!
April already!?! Where in the world did March go?!
On Friday, we loaded up the car, hooked up the camper & headed to the beach because y'all, WE NEEDED IT!! It consisted of not organizing a new house [which I have loved doing] or unpacking boxes! Just us enjoying each other!
And the weather was PERFECT!
We finally got there Friday evening right before it got dark .. & I say finally because we pretty much had to turn around three different times because we forgot something at home! HA! I mean, we would not be the Pegram's if we didn't.
We got there, set up & hung out at the campground for the night!
Saturday morning, we were up bright & early because there was no way we were sleeping our only full day away!
My girls were ready!!
Coop & Pop spent their time building sand castles …
Itty Bitty spent her time eating sand.
Seriously, the girl ate so much sand & wouldn't stop! Pretty sure she'll be pooping sand for days!
But I did get some of the sweetest little pictures of the beach babe!
And Millie Jo spent her day playing in the sand & the frrrrrrreeeeeeezing cold water. No idea how she even handled that. The girl is a fish, y'all!
Ellie Joy isn't walking yet, but she stood herself right up so I know it won't be long! And again WITH A MOUTH FULL OF SAND. I promise, we feed her! 😉
Saturday evening, we showered & headed to dinner.
Went to a few shops …
And then spent the rest of the evening doing nothing. NOTHING except sit outside laughing together & talking about life!
Dan snapped this picture & the angle isn't the least bit flattering but y'all, it's very rare that Coop climbs up on my lap so double ... triple ... chin or not, I'm posting it!
Sunday morning came way too fast & while we packed up, Grammy walked the kiddos down to the ocean!
And then it was time to head home!
We are counting down the days now until our week long vacation this summer!
