Family Beach Vacation :: Days 5 + 6

Happy Wednesday y'all!

Today I am sharing the final two days of our family beach vacation.  My heart, vacation goes by way too fast!
These two boogie boarded, chased each other & pulled each other around on their boogie boards for hours.  When they weren't doing that, they were either playing in the sand or snacking!
 Love my boy.

After spending day 5 on the beach, we went in & had tacos for dinner. 😊

Every year, we take family pictures on the beach one evening.  We decided to do them on this night!
Ready for pictures. 😍
Love these two big!

After pictures, Mimi & Paw-Paw offered to keep all three kiddos while all of us ...
... went out together.

We gladly took them up on the offer!  I was all like "bye Felicia!"
We went shopping & then found this mirror maze that we thought would be so much fun.  And it was, until Dan & I got lost from the group & I kinda felt like I was going to have a panic attack.  HA!
We ended our night with Cold Stone because hello, it's amazing!

Our last morning, we woke up & the forecast called for rain all day so we headed to the outlets.
You'd never guess it was raining if you looked at this girl! 😎
She loves her daddy.
After shopping, we met up with everyone else for dinner ...
Japanese is pretty much our love language!
And since my birthday was the next day, my sweet brother/sister-in-love asked them to bring me a cupcake & balloon!

After dinner, we went back to the house to pack up.  We decided to drive home that night because we have learned it is so much easier traveling with kiddos at night.  Millie Jo slept the entire way home & stayed asleep when we got home about 1am!
Giving this sweet girl all the snuggles before leaving!
Have I mentioned how much I love being an aunt!?!

That was days 5 + 6!
Tomorrow I will share our family beach pictures because all of those are a post in itself.

You can read days 1 + 2 here & days 3 + 4 here!

  1. How great that the weather held out until the last day! Great idea to travel at night with the kids- wondering if I can make that happen for our upcoming road trip now. Happy Wednesday!
