CHRISTMAS BREAK 2020
Hey Hey Wednesday!
Monday, I shared my word of the year for 2021 & if you missed it, you can read it HERE!
Today, I have a whole bunch of Christmas pictures for you. Christmas was definitely different this year, but in our family, we tried to make it as normal as possible for our kiddos! Regardless of how different it was, Jesus, who the season is truly all about, remains the same & for that, I am thankful!
Every year, the week before Christmas, we get together at my mama's house & bake all the goodies. This year, Coop found a red velvet whoopie pie recipe from a magazine at school & wanted to make them. They turned out amazing!! We always say that Coop will either grow up to be a sports commentator, a preacher, or a chef. The boy has loved being in the kitchen since he could walk!
And this girl didn't mind at all to be his icing test taster!
The same week, we also baked cookies at my in-loves with cousins!
Give her all the sprinkles!
We weren't sure we were going to make it to see the big guy this year, BUT we did! And surprisingly, Itty Bitty loved him. Look at her sweet little face!
We always get together with my mama's side of the family the weekend before Christmas & even though many could not make it this year, we made the most of it & had such a fun time together!
We love Christmas Sunday!
On Christmas Eve, we got together with my sister-in-love & her family. It was super simple & sweet ... just how we like it! We did miss the rest of the Pegram crew though!
Christmas Eve night, we went to my parent's house for Christmas with them. And this year, we spent Christmas night at their new house! It was SO much fun! When my siblings left that evening, we let the kiddos open their presents from each other. It was the sweetest dang thing watching their faces light up over each other's gifts.
Look who we caught Christmas Eve ... 😉
Christmas morning ...
It was their sweet smiling faces & the million hugs while saying "BEST DAY EVER" for me.
Okay, and the cutest blue light glasses.
Best morning ever.
After playing with all the toys, breakfast, & naps (for some of us) we got ready to head to Mimi & Paw-Paw's house.
Ellie Joy got a big girl bike & was thrilled!
This girl got a sewing machine & starts lessons next week!
Again, super different as some weren't able to be there, but still so much fun!
The day after Christmas ... if ya know, ya know.

My babes played hard all day ...
Itty Bitty thought she was really playing Madden21 with Coop ... running around saying "Woo Hoo! Touchdown!"
Psssst ... there were no batteries in her controller.
My sister literally won Christmas when she gave Ellie Joy this sink. I'm convinced every child needs one. My older two even love it. HA!
Obviously.
Christmas exhaustion is falling asleep at 6:30pm & sleeping until 9am the next morning!
Toward the end of Christmas break, we went to a Christmas play & it was super cute!
We ended the year 2020 at dinner & brought in the new year at Grammy & Pop's house.
Goodness, what a fun-filled Christmas break it was! The fact that many families were not able to get together this year due to health is not lost upon me. I never want to take my family's health for granted. My prayer is that 2021 gets us back to some normalcy & everyone can go back to spending time with their loved ones.
And now that the kid's are back in school, I'm going to go rest from all the excitement. Just kidding, I have a toddler ... there's no rest in sight.
I hope y'all have the best Wednesday!
Come back Friday when I share our 2020 year in review!

That does sound like a great Christmas! We managed to get together with most of our family too.
