Halloween Weekend Get-a-way :: Part Two
Happy November, y'all!
I hope your Halloween was lots of fun!
Yesterday I shared part one of our weekend get-a-way & today I am sharing the rest with you. So if you missed yesterday's post, make sure you go check it out!
By the time we got back from the hatchery on Friday, my sister & her boyfriend had gotten to the campsite. After hanging out for a while we headed up the mountain a little ways where the campground had ghost stories planned.
By this time it was cold again so sweatpants & sweatshirts for the win!

We made it up the mountain just in time to watch the sunset & it was beautiful!
I mean does it really get much better than a cotton candy sky!?!
After hearing some crazy ghost stories, we headed back to the campground for dinner & s'mores. We laughed so hard around the campfire that night!
On Saturday morning Millie Jo was up bright & early. And of course she wanted to get bundled up & go sit by the fire with Poppy Pop before the rain started!
After lunch it was time to go trick or treating around the campground . . .
The CUTEST Rainbow Brite I've ever seen!!
And by far the coolest Power Ranger!
Once we finished trick or treating, we headed up to the shelter for some more fun . . .
The kiddos decorated pumpkins ...
We went on a hayride ...
And played games!
Afterwards we went back to the camper to warm up & rest before dinner time.
One (or both) of us can never be serious in a picture.😉
During dinner they put on a little play of The Wizard of Oz & after they had a dj come & play music.
Sunday morning we packed up & headed home!
And that was our Halloween weekend!
SO SO much fun!!
I would be perfectly fine if this became a little tradition of ours!
