SUMMER 2022 RECAP!
Happy Monday & HAPPY SEPTEMBER!
We have been back to school now for a little over 3 weeks & are finally back into a routine of things. We're also into the full swing of sports & other after school activities so our weeks are BUSY! More on that later though, today & the rest of this week, I am sharing a little summer recap with you!
It was such a good one & they're never long enough.
To kick off our summer, the girl's (& the cutest nephew ever) finished up their year of Awana at church!
We took a girl's trip to the beach for Memorial Day weekend ...
While the guys headed to Indiana for a race!
We spent a week at Vacation Bible School ...
I mean, can you even!?!
We even snuck in a couple date nights ...
Plus 3. 😉
We spent some time at the pool!
And Ellie Joy started & graduated from swim lessons. Girlfriend is a fish!
We took advantage of the summer dollar movies ... well, $2 movies because #inflation.
We went to the trampoline park ...
Had several family cookouts with cousins ...
And wore some of the cutest summer outfits.
We had our 6-month dentist checkup & are all part of the cavity free club ...
Coop went to youth camp at the beach for a few days & had the best time!
We visited our local museum & had a picnic in the car.
Millie Jo had her very own lemonade & cookie stand. She's working on something special from the money she made! Love her heart.
When we weren't at the neighborhood pool, we were hanging out in the backyard playing ...
Or watering flowers.
We had several family lunch dates ...
And got haircuts before the new school year.
We spent a weekend in Atlanta watching the Braves ...
And this girl was so excited to see her favorite player, Austin Riley.
We had ice cream dates!
And dinner dates!
We celebrated the best man we know for Father's Day!
And Dan finished his summer classes & has already started back for fall.
These two squeezed in a date night together.
We went to several local baseball games!
And we wrapped up summer at Faith Fest where Millie Jo's day was made when she got to meet Anne Wilson!
One of the best concerts we have ever been to!
Goodness gracious if you made it to the end, you're awesome. That was a lot of fun packed into one summer!
