CHRISTMAS BREAK PART TWO : CHRISTMAS BAKING & SANTA!

by - Thursday, January 06, 2022

Hey Hey!

Yesterday I shared our Christmas break part one & if you missed it, you can read it HERE!  Today I am back for part two!

The week leading up to Christmas, we get together with my mom & bake all the Christmas goodies.  One of my most favorite traditions!

While we worked on baking, these two stayed occupied by decorating sugar cookies!
And this one didn't like the sprinkles .. at all.
Coop.
He's always such a good sport & so good at keeping us entertained!

Of course we had more Christmas outfits.  This one may have just been my favorite!
We even managed to get a visit in with the big man!

Christmas Eve morning, we hosted the Pegram Christmas at our house!  When we finished up, we headed to my father-in-love's house, & after that we went to my parents.  It's always such a busy day, but so much fun!  Obviously since I only have the picture above to show for the entire day!
I do have this from after Christmas though.  Pop made Ellie Joy & my nephew each one of these sand/water/rock tables!  This girl has played with it nonstop.

Before heading home from my parent's house on Christmas Eve, we went & took pictures in their little town ...

And I just love how they turned out!
Christmas morning + matching pjs.
I love these three so much!

Our Christmas morning was wonderful.  Our kiddos woke us up early, we saw what Santa brought, we opened presents, cooked breakfast pizza & cinnamon rolls, took naps on the couch, & played hard.  It was such a sweet, slow morning.
Later Christmas day we went to my in-love's house to celebrate.  Their gift this year is a trip to Disney!  Eeeek!  We are counting down the days.  And I am so glad to be able to talk about it in front of my kiddos now!  We have known for months we were going, but it was a surprise for the grandkids!
The week after Christmas, we of course, were in quarantine ... which meant we stayed home on New Year's Eve.  We grilled burgers, played games, rang in 2022, & even got to see fireworks in our neighborhood!

Okay, that wraps up our Christmas break!

We're now working on planning for Millie Jo's birthday next weekend, then Ellie Joy's in February, & Coop's in March!

Have a great day, friends!
