WEEKEND RECAP! [FALL BREAK 2021]
Happy Tuesday! It feels like Monday here since we are just getting our week started today. Cooper & Millie Jo have been on fall break since Friday & we had such a good long weekend!
Ellie Joy spent the night with my parents Thursday night, so Friday I took these two to lunch & to find their Halloween costumes!
I picked up Itty Bitty late Friday afternoon & we spent the rest of our evening at home watching movies & making homemade pizzas!
On Saturday, we got our day going about lunch time. Just in time for lunch at McAlister's. One of the few places we can go & everyone loves it. And I've never met a child that loves Broccoli & Cheese soup as much as this girl!
After lunch, we headed to Target to get a birthday present for our niece. And Coop doesn't always ride in the buggy ... but when he does it's because his dad AA'd him into it. Life with boys! 😉
Saturday afternoon, our kiddos headed to the birthday party ...
While Dan & I headed to a wedding!
This girl & I were best friends in high school & I was so happy I could be there Saturday. It doesn't matter how long it's been since we talked, we pick right back up! So happy for her & her hubby!
A couple weeks ago, my in-loves bought them tickets to the Braves playoff game & asked if the kids had school or not for that specific game. It happened to be yesterdays game & they were out for fall break, but we thought for sure it would be a night game & I didn't want them missing school. The game ended up being at 1:00 yesterday, so last minute, me & the kids got tickets to go with them! I haven't been to a Braves game since I was Millie Jo's age!
AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!
I texted Dan before the game even started & told him to go ahead & start looking up tickets for next year!
First timer & she woke up this morning talking about it!
We grabbed lunch inside the ballpark & found our seats!
I laughed looking through my pictures because Ellie Joy was literally there for the concessions. Almost every picture I have of her she is eating something!
Popcorn ...
Tacos ...
Dipping dots. Which, I can't lie, I was pretty excited about those in that tiny helmet!
And she also occupied herself taking selfies of us.
The energy inside this place was incredible! I can't even describe it! We left last night & I was so bummed that we weren't going to be at today's game!
I am so thankful we were able to go!
I hope y'all had the best weekend, friends!
