BEACH VACATION 2019 : PART TWO
Remember my post from TUESDAY when I shared part one of our family beach vacation & said come back the next day for part two?!? You probably went back Wednesday & it wasn't there, right? On Wednesday, I took the kids up to Dan's work & we all volunteered together all day & it was amazing. Gosh, his new job has been such a blessing to us! SO that's why no post was published & then yesterday, our morning started out with Itty Bitty at the doctor with a nasty cough. Prayers for my girl because she is pitiful!
BUT ... today, I'm here & sharing part two!
We started day five out down at the ocean until ...
We headed out to play putt-putt!
Not without a magic show during dinner first, though.
The sunset that evening was incredible!
After putt-putt, we walked down to the beach with our flashlights to look for shark teeth & crabs! Who doesn't love walking on the beach at night!?!
Girlfriend didn't let vacation mess up her sleep schedule.
The next day, we decided to skip out on the beach & shop a little bit. My three kiddos got burnt the day before even with 100 sunblock on! The sun was HOT!!
We did everything we could to stay inside on this day & enjoy the air conditioning!
We took full advantage of our final day ...
And it was nothing short of amazing!
Ellie Joy even napped by the ocean & if you know her, you know that she LOVES her bed during nap/bedtime!
That evening, we took family pictures on the beach because when you are from the south, it's just something you do. Ask anyone! 😉
After pictures, we headed to a few stores & of course, the candy shop!
My mom got these cousin shirts several months ago & we finally got a picture with them on before we headed home!
Speaking of heading home, that Saturday morning, we got up, packed up, took the camper down & were on our way back to reality.
Gosh, it was such a fun week even with the heat!
I have our family pictures to share but I won't say when that will be because #life. It will be soon though!
Now that our big summer vacation is over, we are officially counting down the days until our Disney trip!! Eeeek!
