Weekend Wrap Up

by - Monday, October 03, 2016

Oh October, you sure did sneak up on me.

If you've been reading my blog for anytime at all then you know that October was the month we thought we would welcome our sweet baby girl, Ruthie Belle, into the world.  This has always been my favorite month & I can remember being so excited in February when we found out we were having an October baby.  Even though she won't be here physically we are still going to celebrate her sweet little self.

And this month has already started out special!

Here's a look at what we were up to this weekend . . .
Friday & breakfast with your bestie.

Coop went home with his buddy, Brady, after school on Friday.  That evening Millie Jo & I went & had homemade pizzas with them, his mom & sister.

Such a fun night with friends!
After dinner these two & I headed to a local high school football game.
Saturday morning we hit up a few yard sales & our favorite antique store!
And it wouldn't be a Saturday without a trip to Home Depot :).
Saturday night we went to the fair.
Eeeek!
This may just be my all time favorite Fall tradition!
I couldn't think of a better way to start off this month than with my little family!

They even won prizes!
Piggy back ride to the car :).
Love my girl so much!
I told you back in my favorite Fall traditions post that the fair was the very first place Dan & I ever went together.  I was only 14 & he was 16!  This year was our thirteenth year in a row going together!  We love taking our kiddos with us every year!  This is a tradition that I hope goes on ... & on ... & on!

After the fair Cooper & Millie Jo stayed with Mimi & Paw-Paw.

Sunday afternoon we went & picked them up then headed to Grammy & Pop's for dinner!

And that was our weekend.
It was a much needed family filled weekend & I enjoyed it so much!

See you tomorrow for Show & Tell Tuesday!
